Raja Chaudhary rubbishes reports of slapping wife Shweta Tiwari

“This entire drama about me slapping Shweta is rubbish,” says TV actor Raja Chaudhary on being accused of beating his wife before she entered the Bigg Boss house, as reports did the rounds yesterday. He says these constant character maligning reports are affecting his career. “I never went anywhere close to her (Shweta’s) or her building because of the court’s stay order.”

Tiwari’s legal counsel, Sunita Tiwari, has a different story to tell. “Raja and Shweta have separated three years ago, and he’s not allowed to meet his daughter. The court has passed a stay order on that. In spite of that, Shweta lets him meet Palak(their daughter). He’s just creating a nuisance.”

Raja, who alleges that he left for Meerut the same night, adds, “It was my daughter’s birthday on 8th October. I haven’t seen her for a long time now and I called up on Shweta’s cell phone to talk to Palak. Her phone was answered by some Abhinav Kohli who started hurling abuses at me and told me that he was her boyfriend and they were to get married soon. He said if I didn’t stop calling I would have to face extreme consequences. So, Ifiled a non-cognizable offence against Abhinav Kohli.”

Raja also shared the NC number —2570 that he filed at Malad West police station on September 29 against Abhinav.

On the the case being filed against him by Shweta, he reacts, “Shweta and Abhinav also came to the police station after I filed the NC. The stories about me slapping her and her ear bleeding are all fabricated. If I was at fault, the police would have arrested me by now,”
he ends.
