TV star Shweta Tiwari has consistently stayed away from the media. But now, the reticent Shweta has decided to break her silence on her troubled marriage with actor and producer Raja Chaudhary and her life as a single parent. “I don’t mind telling my fans and audiences that I’m going through a divorce and that I don’t stay with Raja (Chaudhary, husband) any longer,” she confesses.
Incidentally, Shweta married Raja Chaudhary on December 23, 1999 and gave birth to daughter Palak in 2000. In June 2007, Shweta filed a police complaint against Raja alleging ‘domestic violence’. This was followed by several reported altercations with Raja.
Ask her to delve deeper into the cause of her separation and she declines. “What exactly happened is something that is very, very personal and private—just the way my bedroom or my own house is. I cannot talk openly about it. People don’t have any right to tiptoe into my house. I don’t intend to entertain them,” says Shweta who is currently playing a judge in the reality dance show Aaja Mahi Ve.
On being a single parent, Shweta says, “I’m not doing anything extraordinary. I have done whatever I can to keep my beti happy. People who are paying me won’t care about what’s happening in my personal life. They want me to deliver,” she says.Shweta adds, “I’m sorry about not having much time for her. She wants to be with me and so travels along during my outdoors. I think I’m doing my responsibility well.”
But do all these responsibilities leave her any time for herself? “I don’t have time for myself at all. I cannot go for holidays since I have to plan them in advance. I don’t have the time to exercise or go for beauty treatments. This is the time to work for me. Our profession is so unpredictable. I want to make the most of it now,” she says.
Is the actress doing any television show or are films in the pipeline? “I have a couple of film offers but I’m too superstitious to talk about them now. I’ll be doing a TV serial but I cannot reveal anything,” she says.
Shweta adds, “Right now I’m judging a dance reality show. But I’m really looking forward to being a contestant in some show. It’s really a good experience to be a a participant. Something or the other happens every day.”
it's your personal matter shweta do what ever you want......
